[edmonton 2003] images: day three

looks like burg didn't make it to the toilet. :( before she kills me for saying that, it's actually the bathroom floor of our hotel. like...that's the floor. i don't know, it was stained yellow when we got there. it was pretty gross. why do we always get the defective hotel rooms in edmonton!? on band tour, there was a dirty towel in burg's bathroom, or something. x_x

okay, there's lots going on in this picture. it's our hotel room, first off. notice the messy bed. that's mine. i left it like that. :D gotta get back at housekeeping for waking us up the night before! then there's the view of downtown edmonton. notice the balcony. notice the door. you'd think that door would lead to the balcony, right? wrong. that door is sealed shut!! you can't open it! and, therefore, you can't get onto the balcony! how dumb is that!? very.

the first picture in the drop of fear series. we took so many pictures of this. jacki was so brave. anyway, this is jacki waiting in line. she's right in the middle. doesn't it look like she's having fun!?!?!?

and, of course, i'm slow. when i finally managed to take the picture, they'd reached the bottom practically. thus ends the drop of fear photo series.

burg was too chicken to go on a ride, so we made her hold all our stuff.

okay, i guess the ride was called "1001 nachts" because that's what meghan named this picture and there's a sign in front of it there that says that. okay, so this is jacki, meghan, and i on 1001 nachts. :D we're on the front row, in that order, as you can see. the girls beside us are like "what the?" because they know we're cool. and, um, they're not.

and we're going up!! it spins you around in a loop around and around like that. it's fun. the part in the loop where you drop is fun.

i was a loser and i took my camera with me on the ride. and i'd take pictures when we were on the highest part of the loop. so here's one.

and i tried to take a picture of burg, but you can barely see her. we were moving around so fast i didn't know what i was doing. not only is she not centered in the picure, it's all so blurry you can barely tell where she is. she's on the far left in the orange.

okay, we all crammed into that dumb tilt-a-whirl. this is us having fun! see, it's not so bad at first!! i think i was overreacting just a bit...

oh, man, don't stare straight at my neck. i swear, it doesn't look like that all the time. it was the force of the spinning car!! seriously. -_-

haha, burg barely got jacki in the picture!! i love that, though.

and burg wanted a picture of herself in the tilt-a-whirl, too, i guess.

and then it wasn't so fun anymore when the ride just went on so long and you felt like puking. yeah. burg's still smiling like a little kid in a candy store, though. i think she secretly loved the tilt-a-whirl a lot.

i can't remember who won. i think burg. it was close, either way. maybe it was a tie. yes, let's call it a tie.

isn't my hair attractive? this is my impression of jiyu nanohana from jubei-chan. but, yeah. me at the end of the slide. yippee. you can't tell, but i'm still about ready to puke from the tilt-a-whirl. :)

us going into the agricom. their special exhibit scared me just a little bit. it was all about scandinavia. oh, the horrors. and i don't know what that big white thing is in the foreground. i'm guessing it's the sun reflecting on the camera lens. it's not supposed to be there.

in the marketplace area thing. we thought the sign was pretty funny. i think it's for wheelchairs, but we all thought their sign was rather kinky. everyone needs a...quickie tie-down. hehehehehehe. >:D look at the guy in the black!! he probably thought we were freaks. >:D

i wanted to take a picture of my margarita, too, so here it is. and there's my pizza! it was good. :) i didn't waste it, though. i ate it all. and i drank my entire margarita, too. yay for me.

see? i finished everything! and then i decided to act like a retard, as you can see!

okay, there was this big balloon thing. it wasn't really a balloon, though. it had holes in its arms and legs and air blew up through the legs. so it looked like it was dancing around, and stuff. so we took a picture of it. o_o burg scares me in this picture.

and the dolpin. i don't feel bad that we took so many pictures of it, either, because one of their dolphins died only days after we went there. now they only have one. actually, it might have died already. they're not replacing their dolpins, apparently, so it was kind of special to see them one last time (for me), probably. i remember seeing their shows when they had all four. :(
